Dennis Broadwater

Dennis Broadwater, age 61, passed away on March 3, 2023.

Dennis was born to Thomas and Margaret Broadwater on November 19, 1961, in Augusta, GA.  A graduate of Richmond Academy and Augusta College, he worked in the business and insurance industry until his death.

He is survived by Vince Smith, his husband and partner of twenty-three years, Carolyn Smith, his daughter, and Joyce Smith, his mother-in-law.  Dennis is also survived by his siblings, Larry (Linda) Broadwater, Cindy Vining, Michael (Joey) Broadwater, Kenny (Judy) Broadwater, Kevin (Brenda) Broadwater, sister-in-law, Jenifer (Robert) Attaway, and many well-loved nieces and nephews.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and Jim Smith, his father-in-law.

He was a kind and caring soul, the type of person who could make one feel like the only person in the room.  His smile was contagious.  Dennis was a gentle force and loved others well.  He is missed tremendously.
