Hilliard and his mother, the late Dorothy Beeland. David was a self-employed brick mason. Additional survivors include, son, Joshua Hilliard, daughter, Kortnee Hilliard, brother, Michael Hilliard (Susan), step-brother, Charles Hilliard, and multiple nieces and nephews.
