Cynthia Lynn Mitchell

Cynthia Lynn Mitchell, 70, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia.

Cindi was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to James Jacob Gray on November 6, 1955. She went to school in Comanche, Texas. She married Jeffrey Alan Mitchell on April 3, 1999, in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from Austin Community College.

She worked as a Nurse for many years, lastly at Augusta Dialysis Center for twelve years.

She had a passion for playing pool and loved the community surrounding it. She was involved in APA Pool League. She went to Las Vegas for APA Nationals and won 9th place in Nine Ball.

Cindi is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Cindi is survived by her husband, one sister, one brother, five children, three God-children, 26 grandkids and eight great-grandkids.

Memorials may be given to Jeffrey Mitchell of Augusta, Georgia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Saturday, September 19th at noon.
