Clifton Presley Watkins

Mr. Clifton P. Watkins Retired Seaboard Coastline RR Augusta, Ga., entered into rest Saturday at the VA Medical Center Augusta, Ga. Mr. Clifton Presley Watkins husband of Jeannie S. Watkins. Mr. Watkins a native of Augusta Attended Managelly Accordion and Music School for 10 years, Enjoyed fishing and hunting. Played piano for South Haven Baptist Church, Hephzibah, Ga. Retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad after 33 years. Served in the Air Force for six years. Attended Augusta College. Grew up as a member First Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 6:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home with Military Honors. Additional survivors include, son, Matthew Watkins, Brothers, Wilson M. Watkins (Cheryl), Robert G. Watkins (Faye), Houston W. Taylor. Sister, Betty W. Taylor (Prentice) and one grandson, Trenton John Porter. He is preceded in death father, Charles Marion Watkins (1969) and mother, Mary Ellen Moss Watkins (1996) and Sister Alice Watkins Clontz (1996).
