Christopher Chason Roberts

Blythe

Christopher Chason Roberts, 51 of Blythe, Georgia, was tragically and unexpectedly lost on September 16, 2025.

Chris came into the world in Waynesboro, Georgia in 1974 to Thomas and Catherine Roberts (Burns) and he was a firecracker from day one – being born in the back of a rural mail truck. Chris was an avid animal lover. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially when it included family, fishing, or golfing. Chris was incredibly talented, and his drawing skills led him to tattooing in his spare time. He was a Jack of all trades, and master of one, Welding and Fabrication. He could fix anything, including cars (his “babies”). Chris had a sense of humor that could be gut and belly aching funny with tears rolling down your face in laughter. Chris was educated at Burke County High School before studying Welding at Central Georgia Technical College.

Chris’ unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones who are still reeling at the loss. Chris lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of him. He was taken far to soon. During this time, the family asks for kindness and privacy as they manage Chris’ unexpected passing.

Chris was preceded in death by Thomas Roberts and Catherine Roberts. He is survived by his siblings Leslie Roberts, Deborah Roberts, Mark Roberts (Delores), Donna Roberts (Bee), nieces and nephew Heather Womack (Anthony), Rex Story (Lisa), and Elizabeth Story, great nieces and nephews Autumn Allen (Makk), Taylor Jordan, Rex Story III, Joseph Jordan Jr., Max Story, Alyssa Story, and Aiden Washington.

His family will have a graveside memorial service at Westover Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 @ 10:00 am
