Christine Mary Hardesty

Christine Mary Hardesty, 74, of Grovetown, GA passed away September 4,2026 in Augusta, GA after an aggressive bout with cervical cancer.

She was born in Kankakee, IL to Joe Radke and Stella Gill Radke on May 25, 1952. She married William Hardesty on February 29, 1984, in Kankakee, IL. She graduated from Kankakee Eastridge High School in 1970, then went on to Kankakee Community College for a short time.

She worked as a press operator at Fesco Plastics for seven years and later went on to work for Wal-Mart for 23 years. She was catholic.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Stella Radke, brothers-in-law George and Robert Hardesty.

She is survived by husband, William Hardesty, 2 Stepchildren: William and Brandon Hardesty, 2 grandchildren: Dylan and Kelsey, Sister Joann Tanner (Jim), brother Jodie Radke (Brooke Leuna) and very good friend, Doris Walker.

She loved baseball. Green Jacket season ticket holder.

Contributions to family in lieu of flowers. No visitation. No service. She will be cremated.
