Chad Matthew Stargle

Chad Matthew Stargle, 50, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on October 28, 2026 in South Carolina following a long illness.

Chad was born in Liberty, KY to Dorothy M. Stargle on May 15, 1976.

He was a laborer in various positions for 30 years.

Chad is preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Lynn Spaw; brother, Johnny Everett Spaw; niece, Amanda Spaw and nephew, Skyler Buckles.

Chad is survived by his mother, Dorothy Stargle of Windsor, KY; sisters, Teresa Spaw and Sue (Carl) Guffey of Russell Springs, KY, Sharon (Ricky) Passmore and Iris (Gary) Buckles of Dunnville, KY and Kristie (Jeff) Johnson of Columbia, SC; Bettie Olivieri who was like a mother to him as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends in both KY and SC.

The family and friends of Chad wish to extend our sincere thanks to the hospice unit that provided care in his final days; Edgefield Post Acute for their commitment and Fairhaven funeral home for their assistance in honoring Chad’s final wishes of cremation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
