Brenda Lucille Jordan

Brenda Jordan, 67, of Augusta, Ga, passed away on August 26, 2026 in Augusta, Ga.

Brenda was born in Jacksonville, Fl. to David Rosier and Mary Thigpen on August 22, 1959. Brenda graduated from George P. Butler High in Augusta, Ga. Brenda married Richard Swartzlander on August 4, 1979 in Aiken, SC.

Brenda worked in bookkeeping/accounting in the furniture business for Reynolds Furniture Company for 9 years. Brenda started a Crafting business in 2024.

Brenda enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, spoiling her grandkids, great-grandkids and daughters.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Thigpen; father, David Rosier; and brothers, Martin Rosier I and Noland Obre.

Brenda is survived by her beloved spouse, Richard Swartzlander; step-mother, Dorothy Rosier; sisters, Debra Bargeron and Renee Kaufman; brother, Phillip Gay; daughters, April Swartzlander, Jennifer Swartzlander, Marsha Uribe (Franciso), Christina Berry; Son, Michael Jordan (Camilia); grandchildren, Stephanie, Ayla (Alphonzo) Smith, Brianna (Casey),Dawson, Alexander (Madeline) Glover, Gavyn, Madison (Kenny), Katie and Jayden; great-grandkids, Jaydon, Colton, Evalynn, Remington, Opal, Liam, Nolan, Roman, Kayson, Asher and Bishop. Brenda was very close to her family including her nephews, nieces and cousins.

Brenda was the most loving amazing spouse, mother, sister, friend, aunt, Nana, and cousin. Brenda was the strongest mother who loved her girls unconditionally. Brenda never met any strangers. She made a friend out of anyone she met; they always became family. Brenda was such an amazing, graceful, and exceptional person that can’t be expressed without writing a book.

Memorial services, conducted by Richard Bennet, will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 1-3 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 3507 Wrightsboro Rd. Augusta, GA 30906.
