Billie J. Lacroix

Billie J. LaCroix, 97, of Evans passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The Poteet Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Scholten officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A native of Laurens County, Mrs. LaCroix lived for many years in High Springs, FL where she worked in real estate before moving to Evans in 2000. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Augusta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bucky LaCroix; parents, Ben and Adie Johnson; brothers, Mendell T. Johnson and Claude Johnson. Survivors include nieces Sherry J. Stewart (Daryl) of Grovetown and Karen J. Boyd (Mark) of Evans; nephew, Michael B. Johnson (Cindy) of Lincolnton; sister in law, Shirley H. Johnson of Augusta. 6 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
