Mrs. Piper a native of Charlotte, NC lived in Augusta for the past16 years. She was a Baptist and A homemaker. Preceeding her in death are her parents, William L. & Helen S. Cooke, a son Rodney N. James, Jr and her former husband Rodney N. James, Sr. And several siblings. She is survived by her daughter Marissa James Baker (Mark), Lancaster, SC, two grandchildren, Kaylan Dawn and Charles Edward Baker, two brothers.
