Betty Jo Lowe ,74, of Evans, passed away on June 28, 2026 after a battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Betty was born Colquitt, GA to Buford and Mary Lizzie Cross on December 8, 1951.

She retired from Proctor and Gamble in Albany, Ga

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, several brother and sisters and 2 of her children, Janet McCall and Jason McCall.

She is survived by two children, Jody Joiner (Mitchel) and Johnny McCall (Nasha); four grandchildren, Johnathan McCall (Whitney), Sadie Joiner, Reagan Joiner, and Leanna Joiner; three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Mckenzie, and Memphis; sisters, Barbara Jean Allen, Faye Nolf (Eddy) and brother, Lawson Cross (Sheila) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was devoted to her dogs. Her favorite hobby was taking long walks with them and her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were spoiled with love and time spent at the movies. Betty relished all family gatherings with close and extended members. She will be greatly missed.

The family of wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Marshall Pines Memory Care for incredible care and support for 2 years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Mt Carmel Baptist Church in Newton, Georgia. Arrangements are by Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla, Ga
