Bennie Elbert Lockhart

Bennie Elbert Lockhart, 81, entered into rest October 21, 2017, husband of the late Kathy Bourm Lockhart. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at McNeill Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Glover officiating, with military honors. The family will receive friends at 10:30 am. Bennie a native of Swainsboro, Georgia lived most of his life in Augusta, he proudly served in the US Navy and was a Supervisor with Deerfield Specialty. He was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church in Blythe, Georgia. Survivors include his sons, Randy Lockhart and Ronnie Lockhart, daughter, Donna Draegar, sister, Martha Brizius and four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff at Georgia War Veterans Home in Augusta and to his niece Angie Borum for her loving care for him.
