Anne R. Waters

Anne R. Waters, 74, of Augusta went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday April 6, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Poteet Funeral Home. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, she served as a public school teacher for more than 20 years in Richmond County at both Sego Middle School and Glenn Hills High School where she had an influence in many young lives. She was also a lifelong member of the Augusta Audubon Society. Abilene Baptist Church was her home church for many years. Survivors include her sons and their wives, Dan and Liz Waters of Roseville, California and Mike and Angela Waters of Greenwood, South Carolina, and grandchildren, Emma, Della, Aidan, Joshua, Jessica, and Asa. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 1:00 until the hour of service at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Georgia.
