Amy Cornell Crown, age 83, of Augusta, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Ruth Browning McAuliffe; one sister, Janet M. Haggerty and two brothers, Robert C. McAuliffe and John R. McAuliffe. She is survived by her son, Curtis Crown of Martinez, GA., and her daughter, Patricia Chess of Las Vegas, NV.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Graveside Services will be Friday at 2 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
